If you're traveling around Florida, you need great clothes, right? Clothes are a little cheaper between August 12-14, 2011 when they axe the tax. Florida's tax free holiday will save you between 6 and 7.5 percent on clothing this weekend, depending on the tax rate of the county you purchase your items. Floridians get a big break on sales tax this weekend. Clothing items that are less than $75 will be tax free. School supplies that are less than $15 will also be tax free.
Between August 12-14, 2011, there will be no state sales tax for certain items.
Tax-exemt products includes socks, pants, work clothes, scout uniforms, shoes, school supplies, handbags, diaper bags and backpacks.
